Powell, Anthony (Dymoke)
(21 dic. 1905, Londres, Inglaterra–28 mar. 2000, cerca de Frome, Somerset).

Novelista británico. Publicó su primera novela, Afternoon Men [Hombres de la tarde] (1931), mientras trabajaba en una editorial en Londres. Trabajó como periodista y participó en la segunda guerra mundial antes de publicar la primera de 12 novelas en la serie autobiográfica y satírica Una danza para la música del tiempo (1951–75). Esta, su obra más conocida, refleja su visión y experiencia de la sociedad inglesa en las décadas previas y posteriores a la guerra. Entre sus novelas posteriores se destaca El rey pescador (1986).
